RAF Manston Air Sea Rescue Helicopters

RAF Manston Air Sea Rescue Helicopters: I was privileged to have access the operational Air Sea Rescue squadron inside the 202 hangers at RAF Manston during the 1980’s and 1990’s.

This set of paintings were produced on-site with me sitting on the floor, whilst the aircraft was being repaired in the hanger. (Not from a photo), which makes it a unique  part of our local history as RAF Manston and the Air Sea Rescue Squadron have long disappeared from Manston.

Gouache/watercolour on board- picture size 17 x 9 inches – Main aircraft £400 – the set of three paintings for £800 framed
